It's Snowing!!!

Here is the view out my front door today....yesterday was rainy and cold...today has been rainy, cold, and if you can even believe it, it is SNOWING. It is wet snow so it isn't really accumulating, but nonetheless, it is snow. I am glad Parker and I were able to play outside on Monday, because it has been a challenge to keep him inside the past couple days. Luckily Sean will be home tonight and he has promised Parker that they will be "basketball players" in the basement....

Here are a couple pictures from our time outside on Monday afternoon. Parker had gone into the field and picked some soybeans and brought them to his picnic table and was "cracking" them (taking them out of the pod and laying them on the table.) Then he ran to his swingset and put each little soybean down the slide and said, "Weeeeeee" as they went down.

You may notice a scrape on his chin....Sunday night we were making a tunnel with the couch cushions and Parker ended up falling and hitting his chin on the frame of the couch. Yeah, any harder and we would have been in the Emergency Room getting stitches.
